As Manager of Carolina Athletic Hospitality, Mimi oversees all premium seating management for Kenan Stadium, the Smith Center, and Boshamer Stadium.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Mimi has recently made the move to Chapel Hill to accept the role of Hospitality Manager with Carolina Athletic Hospitality. She attended Auburn University, pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management with an Event Management Focus as well as a minor in Business.

Previously, Mimi has worked for the Tennessee Titans in Premium Services and Auburn University Athletics with on-campus recruiting. When she’s not cheering on her new team, she can be found on FaceTime with her family, shopping, or helping people find what they need at Lululemon. GDTBATH!

 

Melina Oxer

As Assistant Manager of Carolina Athletic Hospitality, Melina works to plan and facilitate all special events hosted within the Blue Zone, as well as assist with executing gamedays in all premium areas of Kenan Stadium, the Smith Center, and Boshamer Stadium.

Melina grew up in the small town of Lake Placid, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and received a B.S. in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology as well as a B.S. in Sport Management in 2022. She also received her M.S. in Sport Management from UF in 2024. Before joining us at UNC, Melina was the Office Intern at Gator Hospitality and also has experience working with UF Athletics in the External Events field along with game day operations.

When she is not at work, Melina loves spending time at local coffee shops, in a spin class, and shopping at local boutiques. She loves traveling with her family and visiting her brother in Oklahoma, who is a U.S. Army First Lieutenant!

Jordan Herrera

Jordan's primary responsibilities as Office Intern for Carolina Athletic Hospitality include the hiring and managing of all staff members for football, basketball, and baseball game days. Outside of game days, Jordan assists with the execution of Blue Zone Events.

Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, Jordan is a recent graduate from East Carolina University, earning her Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies along with a minor in Business Administration. Jordan would like to pursue a career as an Event Planner in the sports industry, specifically, creating national volleyball tournaments. One day, she would like to manage her own travel volleyball club.

When not working, Jordan likes to spend her time hanging out with friends and family, playing any type of pick-up game, or shopping and exploring new restaurants!
